Isaiah 60:1 Is Our Foundation

The words "Arise, shine" are an imperative, urging the people of Christ to stand up, get ready, and display their spiritual vitality and hope. 

The Lord's Glory

The verse explains the reason for this call: "the glory of the Lord has risen upon you". 

This refers to God's presence and splendor being restored to His people, symbolizing His favor and blessing. 

A Beacon to the World

The light of the Lord is a light that will attract the nations. As Christians shine with His divine light, they become a beacon for others, drawing them to God's truth and salvation.
